Josephus and PhiloI have been researching the Gift of Prophecy in the New Testament for since early 2001. I am particularly interested in the views of prophecy within pre-Christian first-century Judaism, which is (roughly!) where Josephus and Philo come in. I am keen to make contact with others researching this field, including those researching the Didache, Shepherd of Hermas or 1 Corinthians. BibliographyI have uploaded my enitre bibliography to assist others, though some of it requires re-formatting for the web. Click here to view it in Adobe Acrobat format, or email me to request a Reference Manager file. Below is a bibliography that relates to Josephus' and Philo's views of prophecy.
